Just like Mom made...

Super Venison

Serves 6-8

2-3 pounds venison or antelope meat
2 slices bacon
1/2 cup vegetable oil
Salt and pepper

Slice meat into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place in 2 quart baking dish in layers. Salt and pepper each layer. Lay 2 slices bacon on top and pour oil over all. Cover. Bake 30 minutes at 350F degrees. Turn meat and bake 30 minutes longer.
