Pizza Shax Appetizers
1-1/2 pounds Jimmy Dean pork sausage (regular)
1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
4 Tbsp ketchup
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
1 loaf cocktail rye bread
Cook sausage until well browned, drain fat. Add cheese and heat until melted. Stir often. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Spread mixture on cocktail rye bread. Bake on cookie sheet at 350F for 10 minutes. Can be frozen and served later.
