Pie Crust
2-1/2 Cups Flour, or 13.5 oz.
2 tsp Sugar (Optional)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Butter, or 4 oz.
1/2 Cup Shortening, or 4 oz.
1/2 Cup ICE water
Blend the flour, sugar, salt, butter and shortening together until the mixture looks like lots of big crumbs. I normally do this by hand, but you can use a mixer. Stir in the ice water a little at a time. You may not need it all. Form up into a ball. Refrigerate. Don't over mix.
When cold, roll out the pie crusts.
