Layered Hamburger Bake
4 oz (3 cups) medium egg noodles
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
8 oz cream cheese
3 Tbsp milk
2 Tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Cook noodles until tender; brown hamburger and drain off fat. Add tomato sauce, salt, garlic salt, pepper and noodles and set aside. Cook spinach and drain. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, milk and onion together. In 2 quart casserole, layer 1/2 of ground beef, noodle mixture, 1/2 of cream cheese mixture, all of the spinach. Add the remaining ground beef mixture. Cover and bake at 350F for 40 minutes until bubbly. Uncover and spread the remaining cream cheese mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Bake 10 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
