Chocolate Crinkles
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 squares unsweetened chocolate (4 oz), melted
2 cups sugar (granulated)
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup powdered sugar
Mix oil, chocolate and granulated sugar. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well. Chill several hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 350F. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough into powdered sugar. Roll in sugar; shape into 1 inch ball. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
