Candy Kiss Cookies

1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbls milk
1 tsp vanilla

48 chocolate candy kisses

Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 350F degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Press candy kisses into each cookie while it is still hot from baking.
