Beer Cheese Soup
Makes 8 servings
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup flour
4 cups hot water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/4 cup evaporated skim milk
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
16 oz Cheez Whiz
1/4 cup chives, chopped
6 oz beer
4 cups popped popcorn
In saucepan melt margarine. Add flour and mix into a smooth paste. Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water and slowly blend into to flour mixture. Add milk and heat to a simmer. Add CheezWhiz, Worcestershire sauce and chives. Simmer until thickened. Add beer and cook a few minutes longer until hot. Float 1/2 cup popcorn on top of each serving.
